From Our President
Let us remember that we are in the holy presence of God.

De La Salle students learn and grow in body, mind and spirit, in a learning environment unlike anything else in our community. With your help, we prepare them for a world remarkably different from the one past generations faced. That’s all the more reason to prepare today’s students within a dynamic philosophy of inclusive scholarship, and to equip De La Salle with 21st century facilities.

In our Lead On Campaign, De La Salle made tremendous improvements and renovations to the campus thus positioning the School and our students as leaders in the education community of Greater New Orleans. Together, we completed the$1.5 million Life Sciences Center with the Dr. Felix Gaudin Biology Laboratory; the Dr. & Mrs. William St. John LaCorte Chemistry Laboratory and the James ‘Jimbo’ Reily II Physics Laboratory.

Now, with your help, in the next phase of our Lead On Campaign we can finish the task we started, by building the new Lasallian Student Activity Center, building the adoration chapel, and Shrine to St. John Baptist de La Salle.

The new Lasallian Student Center will play a critical role in attracting the best athletes and musicians to De La Salle. It will provide much needed meeting space for parents, booster clubs and graduates as well. The center’s new gymnasium will provide needed practice and competition space for sports teams and the wrestling team.

The center will feature the Dr. Charles C. Mary Jr. Band Room, a tribute to our distinguished graduate and community leader from the Class of 1954. The building will also house the De La Salle Hall of Honor, which showcases the successful work of student scholars, athletes and artists.

Please join me on the road ahead. I ask you for your support now for these exciting additions to De La Salle, and invite you to call or visit to learn more.

God bless and thank you.

St. John Baptist de La Salle, pray for us.
Live, Jesus, in our hearts. Forever!
